My name is James Charles Cerny and I was born and raised in Wexford and have lived in the communtiy all of my life. I attended CCAC and BC3 where I obtained an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy and I am currently working as a PT Assistant at UPMC Passavant Hospital. I have been married for over three years and I am the proud father of a boy and girl.
I joined the Wexford Voulnteer Fire Company back in the spring of 1990 at the age of 16 as a Jr. member and I am currently a firefighter within the company. I have also served as a lieutenant for over 15 years. My current training certificates include; The Essentials of Firefighting, CPR, First Responders and Basic Vehicle Rescue.
What I enjoy the most about being a volunteer firefighter is being able to help out others in the time of need and to feel like a part of a team and helping out in the community.
