My name is Joe Weinel and I was born & raised in Wexford where I have lived all of my life. I graduated from Pine Richland High School with the class of 2007 where I was a 4 year member of the marching band playing trombone. I am attending college full-time at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I am majoring in criminology and minoring in philosophy and graduating in spring 2011. I am currently an outdoor attendent at the Fun Fore All in Cranberry and an umpire for little league baseball as well.
I joined the Wexford Volunteer Fire Company back in September of 2003 when I was 14 years old. I am currently active with the fire company when not at school.
What I enjoy the most about being a volunteer firefighter is the opportunity to work with such a stellar group of individuals for the common cause of fire prevention and the sense of personal pride acquired from volunteering my time.
