My name is Megan Fasick and I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. I am currently a full-time student attending the Center for Emergency Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. I am enrolled in Paramedic Classes and my area of study will focus on Emergency Medicine.
I joined the fire service when I was fourteen with the Wexford Volunteer Fire Company about four years ago. I am currently an active member of the department, as well as run fire calls with Berkely Hills and EMS calls with Ross/West View. I hold training certificates in the Essentials of Firefighting, Firefighter I, Basic Vehicle Rescue, Hazardous Materials Operations, Midrise Firefighting, Engine Company Operations and I am a certified Emergency Medical Technician in the state of Pennsylvania.
What I enjoy the most about being a volunteer firefighter is the ability to give back to the community that I grew up in.
