How are company officers selected?
All line officers must meet certain training and experience requirements for each position. The Chief and Assistant Chief are elected by the general membership each year. Captains and Lieutenants are appointed by the Chief and Assistant Chief and presented to the executive board for approval by a majority vote. All members of the executive board must be members in good standing with the company and are nominated and voted on by the general membership in annual elections.
