My name is Richard Voll and I was born and raised in Wexford and have lived and worked here all of my life. I am currently enjoying retirement from The North Pittsburgh Telephone Company where I worked for many years. I have been married for 38 years and have three wonderful children; Beth, Susan, and my son Steve.
I started my firefighting career with the Wexford Volunteer Fire Company on September 6th, 1962 at the age of 18 and have been with the fire company ever since. I am currently a board member have served as assistant chief. My training classes include the Essentials of Firefighting, Officers Training, Advanced Pump Class and CAFS Operations.
What I enjoy the most about being a volunteer firefighter is the satisfaction of helping someone in their time of need.
