Engine 3 was purchased in 2014 from the Citizen's Fire Company in Mount Holly Springs, Pa, and lightly refurbished.
Station 3 is as bare bones as a fire station can be, but has a relatively long and important history with the Wexford Volunteer Fire Company. In an arrangement with the Township of Pine, we moved our tanker to a bay in the public works garage in 1992. This move was in large part due to areas near the municipal building having no fire hydrants. The Township also had a few employees who were also members that could use the tanker for response during weekday daylight calls. When we purchased a third engine in 2004, the 1981 Mack was moved to the municipal building with the tanker. The International/Luverne engine replaced the Mack at Station 3 in 2009. The tanker was moved out to the Main Station in 2012, and Station 3 was back down to a one bay station. The International/Luvernce was replaced with a 1989 Seagrave engine in 2015. Other than a garage bay, there is no other space dedicated for our use at Station 3.
