Santa heads out on the “Express”
We were pleased to provide the annual “Santa Express” event in early December. This tradition goes back over 30 years. In its humble beginnings, one truck carried Santa around to Pine’s neighborhoods. As the Township of Pine has grown, we’ve had to add some Santa helpers. It now takes four different routes to complete the Township in a reasonable time. We appreciate the community’s enthusiasm for this event. Our members look forward to helping spread some holiday cheer and goodwill around the community.
Events like the Santa Express take a lot of coordination. Did you know that the Wexford VFC has an administrative membership option? If you don’t have an interest in responding to fires and emergencies, maybe you could help plan and deliver our various community outreach events and activities.
