July Recap

July was an uncharacteristically quiet month for fire calls with 26, but members were still very active with training and many other department activities. We were pleased to be a part of another Pine Township Community Day as the Township celebrated the 30th anniversary of the event. With the help of an anonymous donor, we sponsored a skydiving exhibition that featured a 50/50 raffle where the winner was determined by having a skydiver land on plates placed in the landing zone. Work continues to put the new Seagrave engine and tower ladder in service. The engine is almost ready for service, and the tower ladder will go out for tool mounting after manufacturer familiarization training the first week of August.
