Wexford VFC Mourns Loss of Past Chief George Thunell

Our hearts are saddened this week as we lost a long time member of the Wexford VFC family. Life member George Thunell passed away on January 4. George was a respected member of the company serving in multiple positions, including fire chief. He was also an active scuba diver when the Wexford VFC had a water rescue dive team in the ‘80s and ‘90s. More importantly, George was a beloved family member, and our thoughts are with the Thunell and Hartman families at this difficult time.
