Hello, my name is Chris Ausefski. I grew up in the Wexford area, residing in Franklin Park and then Adams Township. I went to the University of Pittsburgh to study Electrical Engineering, and now live in Pine Township with my wife and daughter. I have served as the Wexford Volunteer Fire Company’s Fire Chief since 2020. My duty as Chief is to lead the company in its mission of saving lives and protecting property. I work to facilitate this mission through our training, planning, equipment, and emergency operations, all centered around our mission. I have an excellent group of committed members I am proud to serve with. I have found an awesome sense of community through volunteering, and encourage others to consider volunteering with us. It is truly a life changing experience and one I am forever thankful to be a part of.
